GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov has won the 2026 Tata Steel Chess tournament, finishing on 9/13; half a point behind was his compatriot, GM Javokhir Sindarov. GM Andy Woodward finished on 10/13 in the Challengers, qualifying to next year’s Masters tournament, with GM Vasyl Ivanchuk finishing in second on 9.5/13. IM Christian Gloeckler won the Amateurs section on 8.5/9, 1.5 points ahead of IM Henry Edward Tudor.

GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov and GM Javokhir Sindarov are in 1st place on 7/11, closely followed by GM Hans Moke Niemann, GM Jorden van Foreest, and GM Matthias Blübaum on 6.5/11. In the Challengers, GM Andy Woodward is the sole leader on 8.5/11, with GM Vasyl Ivanchuk and GM Aydin Suleymanli half a point behind on 8/11.

On 5.5/8, GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov is the sole leader after 8 rounds, half a point ahead of GM Javokhir Sindarov. In the Challengers, GM Marc’Andria Maurizzi and GM Andy Woodward are tied for first on 6.5/8, with GM Aydin Suleymanli half a point behind on 6/8.
